Attend the mandatory on campus meetings:
Client Orientation Meeting
Mid-point Review Meeting (for 240 only)
Final Presentations Meeting
Meet a minimum of one-hour weekly with the project team and respond timely to their requests for information or
feedback
Provide period feedback when requested and be open to periodic conversations with the supervising faculty
member.
Most importantly, Invest your time! You will get out what you put in.
Detailed Requirements for Each Course
67-373: Information Systems Consulting Project Course (Spring)
As a 67-373 Community Partner, your responsibilities are to:
Attend the mandatory Client Orientation Meeting on CMU Campus on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, 11:00am
- 1:10pm. Your presence at this meeting is critical to a good start with the program. Please
indicate in the comments box of the application if you have a constraint on this day.
Meet and work with the student development team each and every week for 1 hour (this may include time with additional key staff in your organization depending on tasks).
Read interim project reports prepared by the team and provide them with feedback within 2 days.
Complete a brief feedback survey on the team when requested and be open to periodic conversations with the supervising faculty member.
Read the final report, providing feedback to the student team within 2 days, and submit Feedback Form to the faculty instructor giving approval to publish the report.
Make a required brief presentation with the student team at the end of the semester at the Community Technology Forum at the Carnegie Mellon University campus on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 12:30pm - 4:30pm and stay for the entire session to hear about and celebrate all partnership presentations. Your presence at this full session is critical to the program.

67-240: Mobile Web Design & Development Course (Fall)
As a 67-240 Community Partner, your responsibilities are to:
Attend the mandatory Client Orientation Meeting on CMU Campus on Tuesday, October 22, 2024
Your presence at this meeting is critical the a good start with the program. Please indicate in the
comments box below if you have a constraint on this day.
Meet and work with three student development teams each and every week for 1 hour (this may
include time
with additional key staff in your organization depending on tasks).
You will be working with these three teams to make multiple versions of the website.
Attend a mandatory Mid-Semester Evaluation on Thursday, November 14, 2024
Read interim project reports prepared by the team and provide them with feedback within 2 days.
Attend a required brief presentation with the student team at the end of the semester at the Community
Technology Forum at the Carnegie Mellon University campus on Tuesday December 3rd, or Thursday, December 5, 2024 and stay for the entire session to hear about and celebrate all partnership presentations.
